Graduate Prince Damien - Winner of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar"

Prince Damien from Munich has everything what it takes to be a star: for years he is working on his fanbase, released songs and videoclips and inspired others with his genuine style.

In summer 2011, he started his Diploma "Music Producer" at Deutsche POP. Especially the combination of music theory, sound engineering and music management creates important industry know-how for careers in music & media.

Now Prince Damien pushed his career to the fast lane: He first catched attention with his apperance at "The X Factor" in Britain 2015, where he reached the main shows . But only a few weeks after that he applied for German Idols "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" and his performences stood out from the rest. He was aspirant for the final shows right from the start and with a cool & self-evident ease he managed to win the 13th edition, earning 500.000 Euro and a major record deal.

Casting shows don't have the reputation to create real artists. But as Prince Damien was an artist before, who worked hard for his career over the last years, we are particularly delighted of him and the fame he is receving right now. It's not just about singing quite-well, but to present oneself, to take advantage of opportunities, but also to polarize.

We are proud of Prince Damien and for all of our graduates, who are constantly working for their career.  The spotlight of a talent show may fade, but we are not worrying for Prince: He learned to find his path with full powers - with or without castingformats, we're looking forward to the creative output from him and all of our graduates.
