Full spead ahead: student DJ Seip climbs german charts

You can easily tell creativity has always been a major part of his life. At the age of 15 he already was a resident DJ at a local salsa bar and made the audience dance to his grooves. Now being a student of the Academy Deutsche POP aiming for his Bachelor (Hons) Music Technology Specialist Degree he recently produced the hit "Get Up" and made it to the German MTV Urban Charts: Niclas Riccardo Koenigsbuescher – better known as DJ Seip.

"You should be completely convinced of your own music"

says newcomer Niclas and gives a helpful hint for successful creative careers: a solid education: "Only those who invest love, time and money in their art will be able to achieve great success. You live and learn."

His inspiring ideas mostly come up while he is working on beats in his home studio. But even in everyday life, far away from all the excesses and groupies you would imagine, inspiration always pops up spontaneously and define his fresh and catchy sounds.

The Berlin based artist is as focused and thrilled as his plans for 2017: he promises no less than 15 releases this year, "and there also may be a tour this year." Nic already is working hard towards his next goals: releasing music on the large german compilations like Bravo Hits and The Dome and of course he wouldn’t say no to the American Billboard Charts either.

Since 2015 his thriving career as a DJ & producer is accompanied by his continuous studies at the Academy Deutsche POP in Berlin. And even though he already gathered lots of experience and know-how on his way to the top, the young talent has learned some valuable tips and tricks which now are more important than ever for his career. No one is born a master and constant discipline is crucial. Nic also advises on solid education:
