Logic Pro X (beginner level): Get Started Creating Your Own Music

Do you wish you could record and create your own beats and songs, but not sure yet how to do this? Learn everything you need to know to begin making your own music during this 4-hour hands-on workshop!

Requirements:

Basic Apple computer skills and a strong interest to create your own music. The workshop will be held in English, like all courses at UnitedPOP Amsterdam.

Learning objectives

Content:

Introduction (what is Logic, transport controls, various windows, saving projects)
Recording audio (recording, basic editing tools, zoom/navigation)
Recording midi (loading software instruments, playing midi or drawing notes, basic midi editing)
Drum programming (Drummer and Drum Machine Designer)
Mixing basics (channel faders, pan, solo/mute, EQ)

Objectives:

Understand the basics of making music in Logic
Learn how to record audio/midi and edit your recordings
Get to know the Logic mixer and how to use it
Create and export your own beat/song idea
