Workshop at Open Day: Everything you always wanted to know about guitars

Have you always wanted to know everything about guitars? How does the sound reproduction mechanism of electric and acoustic guitars work? How do different types of guitars produce their own unique sound? Then this workshop is made for you.

Learning objectives

Understanding of how structure and size play a role in shaping the sound of a guitar.
Understanding of the difference between a single coil, p90 and humbucker pickups.
Understanding of how the location of a pickup influences the sound including a demonstration of the same principle on an acoustic guitar.

This workshop is part of an Open Day and therefore free of charge. The Open Day starts at 13:00. The workshop itself will start at 14:00. The workshop is approximately 1 hour long.
