Instrumental recording workshop: how to record the 'real deal' and get professional results for your songs. This includes acoustic instrument tracking, preamp selection and gain staging throughout the process, adequate microphone selection and placement, overdubs, effects and processing.

Acquire knowledge about most common practice recording techniques and monitoring options in the studio
Gain insight into basic concepts such as phase cancellation, proximity effect, polar patterns

This workshop is part of an Open Day and therefore free of charge. The Open Day starts at 13:00. The workshop itself will start at 15:30. The workshop is approximately 1 hour long.
